Star Tribune Headquarters Relocation

The Star Tribune Headquarters Relocation project included the complete renovation of 138,000 sq. ft. of their new headquarters at Capella Tower in downtown Minneapolis. Work included new LED lighting, power, and low voltage. The project also included the relocation of the Star Tribune’s main data center into the center of their new headquarters.

Parsons Technologies also helped build the new home for Star Tribune. This division installed and commissioned 23 Extron Cable Cubbies along with 77 Sharp TV’s. Parsons provided, installed and commissioned 2 video walls located in the Reception area and in the New Hub. Projectors and screens, Bosch Speakers, and wall mounted touch panels to control the video conferencing and display controls were installed in the training rooms. The premier conference rooms received Vaddio video conferencing systems, Bosch speakers, BSS DSP’s along with the necessary programming, and table top touch panels to control the video conferencing and display controls.
