University of Minnesota Tate Science Lab Remodel

This building, originally built in 1926, is full of obsolete labs and antiquated classrooms. During renovation this building will transform into vibrant, flexible spaces to bolster instruction, research, and support services of the School of Physics and Astronomy and the School of Earth Sciences all while ensuring that Tate retains its architectural character.

Parsons will be performing electrical construction for 33 renovated teaching labs, three lecture halls, a nearly 80,000-square-foot addition and other updates to modernize the building and bring it up to code
